I love Meg Cabot books and I loved this graphic novel! I really liked the main character and her relationship with her parents and friends. Dinah is always getting in trouble for her loud voice. Things break around her, but is it her fault? Her principal, Dr. Vogel, thinks it is. As events escalate, her mother finally reveals she was the superhero, The Black Canary. Dinah has inherited her superpower – a supersonic voice. Can Dinah master her superpower and save the day? There’s a lot of humor throughout the novel and I like how Dinah works to learn about her powers and how to harness them with the help of her supportive friends. I highly recommend this funny, engrossing, entertaining graphic novel.
