What a cute book for a baby shower or new baby gift. It is filled with photographs of babies doing all the things babies do! The phrases are short and easy to repeat by parent and family members.

We LOVED the mirror attached to it so baby can see what they are doing too! I will definitely be purchasing this for a friend who is pregnant right now! I can see this being one that is read over and over!

The Dress and the Girl by Camille Andros is a beautifully written picture book about childhood items bringing back strong and special memories. This young girl immigrates to the United States and hopes for her favorite dress to somehow return to her.

The illustrations by Julie Morstad are delicate and very detailed.

No matter how far away from home you are or how many years have gone by, memories can come flooding back into your heart!

Do you have an item that brings back some important memories? I have a fairy tale book that is ripped and worn on the sides. It reminds me of many special moments. I used to sit on the counter with my mom reading from the fairy tale book while trying to coax me into taking my medicine. I loved listening to the stories over and over and never budged on opening my mouth! I read it to my kids now and always end up choked up by memories.
