Okay, these books are FABULOUS. They are interactive and ask kiddos to do certain actions on each page, such as petting a cat, “playing” a piano, etc. There are corresponding counteractions that will delight young readers. As a school librarian, I often read books such as these to large classes, and ask students to come up and help one at a time with the different actions. The illustrations are vibrant and so cute too! These books are sure to delight kids from toddler up through elementary school, and are guaranteed hits. Highly recommended for library purchase, and if you have kids at home, you’ll want these on your home shelf as well! They will be much-loved favorites in no time!

I have absolutely loved being a reviewer for Kid Lit Exchange and the girls were especially excited when I received my first set of picture books to review. Possum and the Summer Storm was a wonderful story based around friendship and helping each other out after a storm takes out their home. Kiddos also learn a lot about what type of homes animals live in. This story is perfect for any young animal lovers!

  1. I follow Anne on Instagram, and I completely fell in love with the Possum cover–it’s adorable! I can’t wait to read it! Just put it in our library’s suggest-a-title program 🙂
